I have changed quite a few things about Islands Girl Navigating an Un-Island World over the past couple days - as I'm sure you've noticed. I would love to hear your thoughts about what I've done. I just wanted to point out a couple things.
Starting with the top left corner - this is probably the newest part. I am so excited about this! You see a poll - a question and then a couple answers. These are all in preparation for a blog entry I will be doing in the future. Once the poll closes, I will publish my blog entry. It will always have to do with the poll in some way, and I will tell you how I answered the poll. I am so excited to see what people answer - so please go for it!
Below the poll is the subscribe by email button. This is by far the easiest and most convenient way to "follow" my posts. Whenever I publish a post, it goes directly to your email. So, if you want to get my posts delivered to your inbox, please subscribe! You can unsubscribe at any time! Right below that is the Google+1 Button. If you are a part of Google+1 and like what you read, share my blog with your friends on Google+1. Thanks!
Below that is a list of the blogs that I am in love with! If you want to see why I like these certain blogs, check out my previous post here.
The other side is much more familiar. There's my profile, the links to all my other published blog entries, and then the link to follow me via Bloglovin. If you decide to follow me via Bloglovin, you can also click here. Also - if you want to know why I recommend Bloglovin, check out my previous post here.
So, what do you think of the new set up? What thoughts and recommendations do you have? I want to make my blog fun and easy for you to be on. Let me know what you would like to see changed and what you like or dislike. You can comment or email and I will get back to you ASAP and once again, my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lukim yu PukPuk!
By the way - remember when I asked you to guess what "Rokrok" means? Well - one person guessed "crocodile" which was a great guess, but actually... rokrok means frog! You know how in English you say "ribbit, ribbit"... well in Tok Pisin, you say "rok..rok" which is where the name from frog comes from.
There you have it, instant Tok Pisin trivia! :)
