Tantalizing Thai Sauce Link Up

Hurray for my first link up! I am so excited to actually be doing this for real! I found this link up from Natural Living Mama. I have so enjoyed reading this Mama's blog because it's full of healthy meal ideas and great advice.
This recipe is so easy and delicious, and its healthy! I love Thai food, but usually going out to a Thai restaurant means filling my body with not so great preservatives, sugars, oils, and hormones. One way that I can have my Thai food and keep all those icky things OUT of my body is use homemade Thai sauce! I found this original recipe from a library book entitled Rawlicious. To see the book on Amazon, click here. I've tweaked it from the book to fit my tastes, and you can do the same.

Tantalizing Thai Sauce

1 Red Bell Pepper
1 c Olive Oil
1 T chilli
2 T lemon juice
3 T tamari
1.5 T honey
3 garlic cloves
1 inch ginger
1 t curry powder
1 T cilantro
1/2 t salt

Gather ALL your ingredients, prepare them by washing and chopping into one inch pieces, and dump them into the blender or food processor. Then, hit on and blend it until it's smooth.

Once the sauce is done, you can use it right away (best time to use it for full nutritional benefits) or put it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

You can easily make a stir fry with vegetables, the Thai sauce, and brown rice. You can also easily cook up some mung bean noodles and make a stir fry that way. You could put the sauce in a burger, or in a wrap. You could sprinkle it over rice instead of soy sauce, or use it as a soup base along with chicken stock. The options are endless. Use your imagination and follow your taste buds!
